Ingredients

  • 1/2 CUP (1 stick) – Butter, softened

  • 1 CUP – Sugar

  • 1 LARGE – Egg

  • 1-1/2 TBSP –  Vanilla extract

  • 1-1/2 CUPS – Flour

  • 1/3 CUP –  HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa or HERSHEY’S Cocoa

  • 1/2 TSP – Baking soda

  • 1/4 TSP – Salt

  • 1/4 CUP – Milk

  • 36 – Dark Chocolate Hershey’s Kisses

  • 1 CUP – Chocolate Jimmies

  • 1 CAN (16 oz.) – Dark chocolate frosting

Instructions

  • Beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add alternately with milk, beating until well blended. Cover; refrigerate dough about 1 hour or until firm enough to handle. Remove wrappers from chocolates; set aside.
  • Heat oven to 375° F. Shape dough into 36 equal (about 1 inch) balls. Roll in chocolate sprinkles; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Spread frosting onto cookies, leaving about 1/2 inch around outer edge unfrosted. Place chocolate in center of each cookie. Makes 36 cookies.
