Ingredients

  • 1 Bag (32 oz) – Cubed Southern Style Potatoes (frozen)

  • 1 or 1 1/2 –  Spanish Onion (chopped small)

  • 10 OZ – Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (undiluted)

  • 16 OZ – Sour Cream

  • 1 TSP – Kosher Salt

  • 1 TSP – Garlic Powder

  • 1 1/2 TSP – Black Pepper (or more to taste)

  • 5 CUPS – Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  • The Night Before…
  • Mix all ingredients (*except 2 CUPS of the shredded cheese) in a large bowl and refrigerate overnight.
  • The Day Of…
  • Preheat the oven to 400º
  • Grease a glass baking dish and fill with mixed ingredients.  Top with 2 CUPS shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Cover the pan with foil and bake for 1 hour.  Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes or until the cheese begins to brown in the corners of the baking dish.

Notes & Prep

  • If you’re going to mix the ingredients the right before you bake this dish, it will take longer to bake because the potatoes are still frozen.
