1 Bag (32 oz) – Cubed Southern Style Potatoes (frozen)
1 or 1 1/2 – Spanish Onion (chopped small)
10 OZ – Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (undiluted)
16 OZ – Sour Cream
1 TSP – Kosher Salt
1 TSP – Garlic Powder
1 1/2 TSP – Black Pepper (or more to taste)
5 CUPS – Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- The Night Before…
- Mix all ingredients (*except 2 CUPS of the shredded cheese) in a large bowl and refrigerate overnight.
- The Day Of…
- Preheat the oven to 400º
- Grease a glass baking dish and fill with mixed ingredients. Top with 2 CUPS shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover the pan with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes or until the cheese begins to brown in the corners of the baking dish.
Notes & Prep
- If you’re going to mix the ingredients the right before you bake this dish, it will take longer to bake because the potatoes are still frozen.
